The Nortrip Guide gives you an overview of hosts with unique experiences that also allow you to park for free overnight before continuing your journey. The Nortrip guide is available as both a book and an app. If you purchase the book, you will also have access to the app.
Motorhomes and Caravans
The Nortrip guide can be used by both motorhome and caravan travellers, but the selection of hosts is different. Therefore, make sure to choose the right product! :)
Nortrip App
In the app, we continually add new hosts. We recommend that you always check the app for updated information about the hosts and to see if there are any new ones.
The Nortrip season
From 2024, the Nortrip season will follow the calendar year, from 1 January to 31 December. If you purchase a Nortrip subscription (see table below), this will be automatically renewed on 1 January each year. The Nortrip guide (the book) is printed in February and sent out in March to all Nortrip subscribers in printed form and to those who have pre-purchased. From around mid-March, the Nortrip guide will be sent on an ongoing basis when ordered
Multilingual
The Nortrip guide (book) is in Norwegian, English and German. All content in the Nortrip app is translated into English, German, Dutch and French.

If you choose one-time purchase, there is no automatic renewal and you don't have to worry about cancellation

How long does the Nortrip membership last?
The Nortrip season follows the calendar year and therefore runs from 1 January to 31 December.
Is it really free to stay with the hosts?
Yes, it's absolutely free! Although there is no obligation to purchase, we of course hope that you appreciate the hosts' hospitality and purchase their goods and services.
Is there electricity at Nortrip hosts?
Approximately 70% of hosts offer electricity. Please note that Nortrip hosts may charge for such additional services.
Can I use Nortrip if I don't have a motorhome?
Yes, you can! If you have a roof top tent and are dependent on a toilet and/or bathroom, you can use the filter option in the app. About half of the hosts offer bathrooms. Please note that Nortrip hosts may charge for such additional services.
You can also use Nortrip with a caravan. About half of Nortrip hosts welcome caravans.
